Microsoft has started releasing a few new updates to its Surface Pro line of devices this week, and the company is using the update to get its Surface 3 cleaned and tidied up.
The update is available now in the Windows Store, and if you’re in the market for a new Surface 3, it might be worth taking a look at the new cleaner that comes with this week’s update.
As usual, you’ll need to head to the Windows Insider Program to try out the cleaner.
We’ve already seen some of the cleaner options being released by Microsoft this week.
Microsoft is also offering some other updates to the cleaner as well, including an updated version of the Surface 3’s USB Type-C charger that’s now compatible with USB Type C ports, a few tweaks to the Surface Pro’s camera software, and a few other small tweaks.
The Surface 3 has been getting a clean install with the latest Windows 10 Creators Update since January 8, and we’re seeing more of it.
Windows Update will now automatically update the new Surface to the latest version of Windows 10 in the event you haven’t already updated.
The clean version of Surface 3 should come with an update to the update in the coming days.
Microsoft has been using Windows 10 to clean up its Surface line of products since December 2015, and Microsoft has been actively pushing out new cleaning updates as part of the update.
The new update will allow you to get the cleaning job done sooner by automatically applying the new version of Microsoft’s Windows Defender Security Center software to the device.
Microsoft’s updated version is compatible with a variety of USB Type A and Type C devices, and there are also options to choose from when you need to remove or replace the battery.
Windows 10 Home and the Creators update will both support USB Type Type-A, USB Type D, and USB Type E charging ports.
