Softwall has announced that it is to replace its Cleanroom home in its New Zealand headquarters with a new, more energy efficient and smaller home.
The new home will have a much lower capacity of 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and 3½ baths.
It will also have more energy-efficient appliances and fittings.
“This new home is designed to be more energy sustainable and has a smaller footprint.
We have identified the right dimensions, energy efficiencies, and space for all the essential services that a Softwall home should have,” the company said in a statement.
The New Zealand property will be built in a two-storey building on the site of an old manufacturing plant on the Sunshine Coast.
The company is also to remove its iconic Softwall logo from the front of the building and remove its logo from signage.
It will be located at a property in Auckland, and will be able to house up to 150 people.
